• Best Peach Pie

    The title does not lie…it IS the best!  If I were to think of the favorite thing my mom would make for us…that one thing that reminds you of home and your childhood…this would be it for me.  The finished pie has a custardy bottom, soft sweet peach center and sugary crust top.  Makes me homesick just thinking about it.

    Best Peach Pie
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • ½ cup Flour
    • 1 dash Salt
    • 1 stick Butter, softened
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 4 – 5 Fresh Peaches, sliced
    • 1 Pie Shell
    Mix the first 6 ingredients.  Arrange sliced peaches into bottom of uncooked pie shell in pie pan.  Pour mixture over the peaches.  Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
