• Herbed Vegetable Broth Powder

    Thanks to the people at Blend Tec, here is a fantastic substitute for store-bought bouillon!

    Herbed Vegetable Broth Powder

    Ingredients:

    • 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
    • 1/3 cup sea salt
    • 1/4 c dried mushrooms
    • 1/4 c dried mixed vegetables
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp onion powder
    • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
    • 2 tsp dried parsley
    • 1 tsp celery seed
    • 1 tsp dried dill
    • 1 tsp dried lemon zest
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1 tsp dried marjoram

    Directions:

    Pulse in mixer or food processor until well mixed and powdered.  Use 1 teaspoon per one cup water to make 1 cup broth.

    Makes 48 servings – 1 tsp per serving.  520 mg per tsp. (Decrease salt if you are on a low-sodium diet.)
