    Slow Cooker Zuppa Toscana Soup


    • 1 lb ground, mild pork sausage
    • 6-8 red potatoes, sliced
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 tsp. garlic
    • 32 oz. chicken broth
    • 1 quart water
    • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    • 2 cups kale
    • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    Fully cook pork sausage in a fry pan and drain grease. Add cooked sausage, red potatoes, onion, garlic, chicken broth, water, and crushed red pepper to slow cooker. Cover. Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Turn slow cooker off and add kale. Return the lid and let sit for 5 minutes. Add whipping cream and serve.
